Abstract Water pollution is referred to as the introduction of exotic species into an ecosystem, which poses serious difficulties for both environment and human health. As a result, water treatment has garnered lot interest in recent studies, particularly dyes removal. In effort synthesize new photocatalysts with highest potential removing pollutants, photocatalytic degradation two types dyes; aniline blue, malachite green by newly synthesized Ag(I), Ni(II), Co(II) complexes been investigated here. ions were used interact novel imine ligand, HL, was produced condensing 3-acetylcoumarin, sulfadimidine, order make desired complexes. Different spectroscopic methods properly characterize confirm structures all compounds. The HL act anionic tetradentate through group (C=N), lactone carbonyl (C=O), sulfonamide (SO 2 NH), pyrimidine ring nitrogen. suggested formula [Ag (L)(NO 3 )(H O) ], [Co (L)Cl (H O)].2H O, [Ni O tetrahedral structure, nonelectrolyte nature. Through optical studies XRD measurements, compounds have semiconductor nature nano sizes. TGA-DTG/DSC techniques utilized thermal behavior study well assess some thermodynamic kinetic parameters stages. geometry proposed structure optimized density functional theory (DFT) calculations. BET surface area porosity data align excellent performance complex toward degradation.
